Last two faces of this challenge

So, here comes my last two... Not so satisfied with the first, but the second was ok. It has been fun to do this, but now I will draw other stuff for a while! 😉

Day 24-27 of challenge

Sorry for the lack of updating, but it's too much going on right now... Day 24 I continued with the Derwent pencils, but on day 25 I had no time again so this was a quicky, and I'm so not happy with this one! The last two I did at meetings at work, and therefor had some more time. So these might by favourites instead... ☺️

Day 23, Derwent skintone pencils

So, the final week I decided to go back to more realistic faces and to use my pencils from Derwent. For this first one I've used Cream with Ochre for shadows, Pink for the lips, Dark terracotta for the eyes and finally Brown earth for the hair(s). Did not erase the sketch lines, maybe will do that tomorrow. 

Day 22 of challenge

Well, due to too little time I'm just doing a simple pencil sketch today... Hopefully I'll have more time tomorrow for something special. ;-)

Last two cartoon faces

Day 18 & 19

Still doing the cartoon style drawings, and the reason why they look so old fashioned is because I have this old How to draw story cartoons that I'm learning from. :-)

Day 15, cartoon face

I've done manga now for a week, and liked the fact to not have to make it so realistic. So I'm transfering to cartoons now for a week to keep that feeling... ;-)

Day 14, the last manga

Well, not sonsatisfied with this one, but neither my heart or mind was in it today... Been worrying about my father whom I couldn't get in contact with. I made another boy, with a new facial expression. Tried to make him angry, but he looks more worried (or maybe I'm projecting my feelings). 

Day 12 & 13, more manga

So, I'm continuing with this until tomorrow... Yesterdays I did at a meeting at work, and todays I just made in front of the TV. This time I tried to make the eyes a bit different... :-)

Day 10 & 11, two manga boys

I've continued with the manga, but this time I drew two guys instead. Finished painting the first one just before midnight, so thought I might wait until todays was done... ;-)

Day 9

Another manga girl, this slightly from the side. Same procedure as yesterday, but had a small accident with the erazing which left some marks... 

Day 8, time for something new

Ok, so it's been a week with pencil drawings, which makes me feel that it's time for something else. :-)

I've had a book about manga for some time now, so I thought it could be nice to focus on that for a week. So here is my first manga face... I first did a pencil sketch, then filled in the lines with a black marker and then finally colored it in with pencils. 

Day 6 & 7 of challenge

I was very short on time yesterday so I only had time for a 10 sec sketch. But I tried to make it with as few lines as possible as a challenge. Today's I made at a meeting at work, and used a co-worker as the subject. :-)

Day 5 of 29 faces

I'm continuing with family, and this time I drew myself. Not satisfied though, but I'm doing this to get better, right?! ;-)

Day 4 of 29 faces

Well, continuing with the pencil drawings in front of the TV, and with an image to draw from. This one is of my youngest wearing a hat. :-)

Day 3 of challenge

Well, today I drew from an old photo of my oldest daughter. Not completely satisfied, but it's time for bed now so it'll have do... :-)

Day 2 of 29 faces

Today I had more time, so I decided to stick with the pencil but to draw from a picture... So here's a drawing of my husband. ☺️

A new 29 faces challenge

And this time I'll do it at the right time and by joining the challenge at 29 faces blog.

My main goal this time is just to continue to draw, because if I dont have something to focus on I tend to forget doing it.

Well, this first one is just a quicky from the TV couch... :-)
