Birthday card for Åsa

Wanted to try out the stair step technique with the nice cardstock I bought for Åsa (she loves turqouise). It has branches that are metallic, and it would look great with the lanterns from Hero Arts Good Fortune. With that I wanted to use my picked fence punch at the closest level, and the asian girl on the one behind.

Here is another image with the cardstock folded.

Then I realized that I wanted some grass behind the girl, so I used the stamp from HA Be Happy (watermark with hologram embossing on green paper), and placed it on the second layer.

And here is the finished card, with text and a bit of yarn that matches the lanterns. Also added some stickles to the girl and lanterns.

And here is a side view where you can see each step. Also glued on a green back to the card to have somewhere to write the greeting on.
